Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy outlines the explicit commercial terms regarding order cancellation, fabrication milestones, transit damage claims, and refund processing for machinery and spare parts supplied by Bharat Machinery & Engineering Works.
Policy Outline
Approved refunds are credited directly to the original bank account or payment method within 7 to 10 working days via RBI banking rails.
01 Commercial Nature of Industrial Capital Machinery
Industrial machinery, including heavy hydraulic forming presses, high-speed automatic paper plate machines, animal feed pelletizers, and heavy cutting dies, are heavy-duty capital goods engineered to specific voltage, tonnage, and tooling configurations. Unlike retail consumer merchandise, our machinery involves substantial upfront procurement of graded structural steel, hydraulic valves, electric drive motors, and precision CNC die-cutting.
02 Order Cancellation Windows & Deduction Schedule
If an order cancellation request is officially communicated in writing within 48 hours of booking advance remittance and before steel plate cutting or component allocation has commenced, the advance deposit will be refunded subject to a 10% administrative and banking processing fee.
Once structural chassis fabrication, hydraulic assembly, or custom die tooling has commenced, cancellations will incur deductions for the actual incurred cost of raw materials and non-recoverable machining hours. The remaining balance, if any, will be processed for refund.
Once the machine has successfully completed factory trial testing, painted, and crate-packed for transport dispatch, the booking advance is non-refundable.
03 Pre-Dispatch Factory Verification Sign-Off
We provide live video operational trials demonstrating proper stroke speed, hydraulic pressure stabilization, and sample product cutting before any machine departs our factory. Clients are encouraged to verify machine performance in person or via video conference. Once the Buyer signs off and authorizes dispatch, returns based on subjective preference or change of mind cannot be accepted.
04 Transit Physical Damage Protocol (Mandatory 48-Hour Notice)
All machinery is secured inside heavy wooden export-grade crates. If visible external damage or mechanical impact is observed upon arrival at the destination:
- The Buyer must immediately record an explicit remark on the transporter's delivery copy (Bilty / LR receipt) before signing.
- The Buyer must capture clear unboxing video footage and high-resolution photographs detailing the specific damaged sections.
- Written notification must be submitted to our support desk (contact@bornalizmachinery.in) within 48 hours of transport arrival.
Upon immediate verification, we will dispatch free replacement parts (or in catastrophic transit damage instances covered under insurance, initiate full transit claim processing or machine replacement).
05 Manufacturer Warranty & Defective Part Replacement
If a machine component experiences manufacturing or structural failure during the 12-month manufacturer warranty period, our resolution policy is replacement or repair of the defective component via expedited courier rather than wholesale equipment return. Replacement motors, solenoid valves, hydraulic seals, and electronic timers will be dispatched promptly free of charge upon verification.
06 Refund Method & Turnaround Time

Refunds will be processed exclusively through standard banking channels directly into the original bank account or source payment instrument from which the transaction originated. In compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and RBI regulations, cash refunds or refunds to unrelated third-party bank accounts are strictly prohibited.
